The discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb is one of the world’s greatest historical events. When the archaeologist Howard Carter opened the tomb in 1922, he unveiled an unprecedented trove of treasures: gleaming royal jewellery, sacred artefacts, ancient weapons, musical instruments and the world-famous Golden Mask.
To this day, Tutankhamun’s legacy continues to fascinate people in their millions around the globe. However, over the years, important original artefacts have been lost.
Tutankhamun: His Tomb and His Treasures has sought to maintain this unique cultural heritage in its original form through expertly crafted, true-to-life replicas. This exhibition is the only opportunity to experience the Pharaoh’s treasures in their entirety as they were found.
Don't just learn about history - live it.
